Rehab centre begins formal operations

A rehabilitation centre, which will offer services to drug and alcohol addicts, will begin formal operations here on Thursday.{{more}}

God’s Eternal Mercy Rehabilitation Centre, located at Cane Hall above the engineering offices of St Vincent Electricity Services Ltd is designed to rehabilitate drug and alcohol addicts and will be facilitated by certified professionals.

The centre will begin formal operations on Thursday during a ceremony which begins at 5 p.m., and has as its directors Cornelia Lee Layne, Lennox Daisley and Pastor Douglas Neverson.

According to a release, the centre, which will house residential patients, has modern psychiatric and medical resources.

The centre will run in partnership with the Evangelical Church of the

West Indies and will be based on the spiritual objective of prayer and counselling.
