Of the disbursed fund, US$818,261.29 will go towards Colonarie Bridge project, Calliaqua Town Hall project, South Rivers Sports Field project and customs office IT equipment project; and US$223,197.68 will be used in procuring IT equipment and office furniture for the Treasury and Inland Revenue Department, Civil Registry, and Service Commissions Department.

“It is expected that the relevent agencies will be better placed to deliver quality services to the public upon receipt of upgraded office equipment, and many local communities will be benefited upon the completion of those construction projects as well,” a release from the Taiwanese embassy said.
