The Bubby Stone Trail, which the group says is the “newest and most interesting Trail in SVG,” is about four kilometres long.

“It gazes you through the Kamacrabou Mountain, easing through “Hall and Chamber”, exposes you to unique spring water, and takes your breath away with the magnificent towering stones, scores of feet in height, with breasts! It’s a sight like no other!” a release from the group said.

According to the release, the trail also provides access to the Amazona Guildingui, the national bird of SVG, the Whistling Warbler and black snakes.

The Bubby Stone Trail was developed under the “Ecotourism and Biodiversity Project for the Kamacrabou Mountain and Diamond Village Community.”

It was funded by the Critical Ecosystem Partnership Funds/CEPF, managed by CANARI.

Ministry of Tourism officials, as well as officials from Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, including the ministers are expected to be at the launching, the release said.

The launch begins at 9 a.m.
