Super J, making significant impact on life of a single customer

In the Super J recently concluded Valentines’ promotion dubbed “It’s a Love thing,” for every $50 spent, three lucky shoppers from Super J IGA Supermarkets and Save a Lot got a chance to win prizes ranging from chocolate hampers and spa treatments at the Calming Therapeutic Spa to loyalty points and a romantic night and dinner.

An excited and appreciative Grand Prize winner, Shelly-Ann Roberts, walked away with a dinner and a night for two at French Verandah and the Mariners Hotel respectively. When interviewed by Elsa Lionel-Jones about her winnings, she declared that this had caught her by surprise, since she has taken part in many promotions before and was yet to win. Roberts expressed her gratitude to the Super J IGA and Save a Lot team for allowing her to believe in taking chances.

The Super J IGA Family Friends and Food Promotion started this week. For every $50 dollars spent, customers at each of the supermarket’s locations will have a chance to win 10,000 Loyalty Points in their weekly draws. At the end of the promotion, one lucky customer stands a chance to win 50,000 Loyalty Points and dinner for four at Tito’s.

“We are aware of the importance of Easter as a time for caring and sharing; a time for family. In the true spirit of giving back, in addition to the 50,000 Loyalty Points, our Grand Prize winner will also get the opportunity to donate $500 worth of grocery vouchers to any charity of their choice,” Lionel-Jones CFL Marketing & Corporate Communications assistant said.

“In a small way Super J IGA Supermarkets and Save a Lot will make a significant impact on the life of a single customer and extend some support to the people who need it most. And that’s what Easter is truly about.”
