Police said on Wednesday that they were investigating an accident, involving P8266, a car driven by Elbene Homer of Peter’s Hope, and R2908, driven by Nabaningi Joseph of Greiggs.{{more}}

The accident occured just outside the Dr Cecil Cyrus Medical Museum in New Montrose around 5 p.m. on a wet Tuesday as many persons made their way home.

The occupants of P8266 sustained injuries and were treated at the Milton Cato Memorial Hospital and discharged, police said. Two women and a boy were in the vehicle.

Both vehicles were extensively damaged.
