While most Vincentians were asleep, members took to the streets of Kingstown early Saturday morning, treating homeless persons to breakfast, as well as offering companionship and inspiration to them.

The event is among several planned for the season, under the theme “We Care”.

On December 5, International Leo Day, Leo president Cametha John, accompanied by other Leos, handed over a cheque for $300 to the St Vincent and the Grenadines Planned Parenthood Association.

The money will be used to buy food and other items to be included in care packages for persons living with HIV/AIDS.

The club’s other events included a football match and social with the boys at the Liberty Lodge Boys Training Centre yesterday, followed by the School for Children With Special Needs tomorrow.
