Security Guard shot in the thigh

A Security Guard of Largo Heights was treated and discharged from the Milton Cato Memorial Hospital after sustaining a gunshot wound to his left thigh during a robbery at Tyrell Street.{{more}}

Police told SEARCHLIGHT that on Saturday, June 11, at about 9:30 p.m., 32-year-old Steve Dublin, who is employed at Randy’s Supermarket, was making his way to Randy’s Wholesale department, just opposite the Rose Place Public Bathroom when the incident occurred.

While on his way, Dublin was approached by a man who shot him and robbed him. Police say the robber got away with close to $9,000.

No arrests have been made: Investigations are continuing.
