Karib Cable Broadcast Live Coverage of the 53rd OECS Meeting held in SVG

Karib Cable, the only telecommunications company in SVG offering a triple service of Cable TV,{{MORE}} Broadband Internet Services and a Fixed Line Telephone Network, contributed to the 53rd OECS meeting that was concluded on Wednesday, May 18, at the Peace Memorial Hall in Kingstown. Through the intervention of Karib Cable’s television network, local Vincentians along with other OECS and Caricom citizens were given the opportunity to view this historical event by broadcasting it live on television.

Ambassador Ellsworth L.A John of the Regional Integration and Diaspora Unit in office of the Prime Minister said: “I wish to express my appreciation to Karib Cable for their sponsorship which allowed for local and regional coverage of the Opening Ceremony of the 53rd Meeting of the OECS Authority. Through this venture the information transferred would go a long way in sensitizing both local and regional citizens about the advances being made in the Organization of the Eastern Caribbean States (OECS). So again I sincerely thank Karib Cable for all their efforts and for making the coverage a reality”.
