NTRC takes its community discussions to Owia

The National Telecommunication Regulatory Commission (NTRC) wishes to inform the general public and all stakeholders that the seventh, in a series of Community discussions to be hosted by the regulatory body, will be held at the Owia Government School tomorrow,((more)) May 11th, beginning at 7:00 p.m.

Major issues to be discussed are:”The role and function of the NTRC” and “Projects being undertaken by the Universal Service Fund”.

The NTRC will solicit feedback on issues affecting residents in the area, with respect to the telecommunications services being provided by LIME, Digicel and Karib Cable.

Senior officials from the NTRC will be making presentations and facilitating the discussions. The public is invited to attend.
