On Sunday, May 1, the Lulley team distributed food packages and clothing to residents in shelters affected by the torrential showers which caused an enormous amount of damage.

The packages were presented by Branch Mangers Cascita Hazell and Galia Lulley, and Trevor Morgan, Sales Manager.

The packages were delivered to 14 families housed in the community center, five families in the old School for Children with Special Needs, as well as a patient of the Georgetown Hospital.

Mark said the idea came about after the two branch managers Hazell and Galia read several articles in the newspapers, mainly the SEARCHLIGHT’s back page article of April 29.

Mark used the opportunity to call on all businesses to lend a hand in whatever way they can in this time of need. He said it was sad looking at what has happened to the families who lost everything.

Lulley’s Fishing Supplies is the oldest and largest tackle company in the St.Vincent and the Grenadines, with branches on Mc Coy Street, Front Street, Bequia, and Clifton, Union Island.
