Bequia CHS Young Leaders donate bottled water to Anglican School

On Thursday, February 24, the Bequia Community High School Young Leaders handed over two five-liter bottles of water to the Bequia Anglican Primary School for its annual sports meet which was held on Friday, February 25, at the Clive Tannis playing field.{{more}} The public relations team was also able to get air time to inform the enthusiastic spectators on water facts and their plan of activities under the young leaders team H2 O have you had your 8?

On the same day the young leaders held a fund raising event, ‘BBQ and water’, where persons purchasing BBQ had the opportunity to get a free glass(es) of water.

Water will also be given to the two primary schools on the island for their annual sports meet taking place today and next week. The BCHS young leaders will host another ‘BBQ and water’ fundraiser on National Heroes Day, when the Rotary Club of Bequia will be hosting its annual Schools’ Sports Day. The young leaders will also use the opportunity to educate the spectators on water through its theme H2O have you had your 8?
