Just before the presentation was made, organiser Junior Jacobs said the donation was their way of giving back to the community and helping those in need. He noted that since the Army plays a pivotal role in many of the children’s lives in and around Kingstown, he wants to make a positive difference in the community of Rose Place and surrounding areas.

Jomarley Cyrus also echoed Jacobs’ sentiments and stated that the group is pushing for a better community in which the youths can flourish and make a brighter future for themselves.

Head of the Army Major Pierre Antoine thanked the group for their kind donation and stated that the money will go towards the Army’s daily feeding programme.
