Dr. Gonsalves back as Leader of ULP

Prime Minister Dr. Ralph Gonsalves has retained the post of Political Leader of the Unity Labour Party (ULP).{{more}}

This took place at the Party’s 16th National Convention on Sunday, February 13, at St. Joseph’s Convent Marriaqua.

Girlyn Miguel, Deputy Prime Minister and Area Representative for Marriaqua, was elevated to the rank of Deputy Political Leader after Sir Louis Straker announced that he was not making himself available for the position.

The political party’s chairman Edwin Snagg was also retained with Chief Nursing Officer Sister Audrey Scott-Gilkes taking over the ULP’s Deputy Chairperson post from Juliet George. (DD)
