Resistance Drummers hold ‘Black History’ Cultural Rally tomorrow

The Resistance Heartbeat Drummers is presently organising its first public activity in the form of a Cultural Rally called Black History Revival, in commemoration of Black History Month, which is the month of February, and will also pay tribute to Brother Bob Marley.{{more}}

The rally will be held tomorrow, Saturday, February 12, in Dauphine, at Byron Shop, and will begin at 4 pm. The featured speaker will be Jomo Thomas.

There will be drumming, poetry, songs and other performances.

The Resistance Heartbeat Drummers, a Cultural organization based in the Kingstown Park area, was formed six months ago. The objectives of this organization is to develop the Cultural Artforms in St Vincent and the Grenadines and to spread the message of Edutainment, that is, Education and Intertainment.
