Helping Other Pursue Excellence (HOPE) Foundation will also be celebrating the month of independence in grand style when they host their annual awards ceremony and dinner.{{more}}
The gala event, which will take place on Friday, October 22, at the Golden Years Activity Centre at Cane Grove, aims at recognizing people in the Buccament/Vermont valley who have made a difference in that community.
Among the awards to be handed out are best Common Entrance performance, best CXC Oâlevel results, as well as sportsman and sportswoman of the year. A laptop valued at $3,000 is among some of the other prizes to be awarded.
The Awardees in each category will also receive a plaque to highlight and recognize exceptional achievements.
