During a special visit to this country, Guinness brew master Fergal Murray the man who is entrusted with ensuring that the taste of the worldâs most popular stout is at its best, extended kudos to proud employees of the St. Vincent Brewery last Thursday, September 9.
Murray lauded St. Vincent and the Grenadines for its quality production and marketing of the product, which has been on the local market for decades.
Murray disclosed that St. Vincent and the Grenadines is in the top three when it comes to markets with the highest per capita in consumption.
He indicated that this country is also among the top five in the region when it comes to sales, with an average of 150,000 cases being sold annually.
St. Vincent and the Grenadines has already received an award for best quality production of Guinness for the period January to June this year.
Murray, commenting on the quality of the stout produced at the brewery in Campden Park, described the taste as amazing.
He said that the product was unique and outstanding, and âabsolutely gorgeous to taste.â
While here, Murray and his team visited a number of establishments, where they promoted the drink as well as an âunder the crownâ promotion to commemorate September 23rdâ as Arthur Guinness Day.
A concert is slated to take place in Jamaica on October 3.
He also conducted âsessionsâ to teach consumers of the product about the five steps to correctly enjoy a Guinness. (JJ)
