Kindergarten students on Bequia are now thankful after receiving free book bags and school supplies.{{more}}

This special donation came from the Bequia Social Organization, based in Canada, and is done on an annual basis. The recipient schools were the Paget Farm Government School (PFGS) and the Bequia Anglican Primary School (BAPS).

According to retired headteacher of the BAPS Denise Niles, president of the group Terrence Penniston is very interested in children’s education and feels the need to support them.

The teachers and parents, as well as the students, expressed their appreciation for the thoughtfulness of the president and members of the Bequia Social Organization.(DC)
