From 8:30 this Saturday morning, several computers will be available for persons who want to vote but haven’t and they will be assisted by Samuel and his team in getting their votes recorded.

“I am extremely grateful for the support I have received for this initiative so far and am humbled by the response,” Samuel said, noting that with the publicity over the last three days he has moved up from 8th place to 5th in the General Electric Eco Imagination contest which seeks to find new innovations to power the Smart Grid of the 21st century.

“There are some 1,100 ideas in contention,” Samuel said, “and it would be a great achievement for St. Vincent and the Grenadines to be recognized as a place of innovation should we achieve the top spot.”

This effort to garner even more votes is being supported by Digital Cable Television provider, Karib Cable and the Singer Company.

“As a technology company,” said Ian Mulhern Karib Cable General Manager, “we are excited to support this initiative and give tangible encouragement to Mr. Samuel whose efforts and achievement to date have been exciting are more than commendable.”
