LIME Halifax Street is back, with a new look
After nearly two months of renovations, LIME officially re-opened the doors of its Halifax Street office on Sunday, July 25, giving their customers a new feel, new look and a new way to enjoy their Landline, Internet, Mobile and Entertainment services.{{more}}
The companyâs Halifax Street customer service area now boasts a more flashy design, complemented by new furniture, access points, new flooring and a more comfortable atmosphere for customers. Access for physically challenged persons has now been made easier, thanks to the availability of handicap parking and wheelchair access points.
As the store opened its doors, employees were seen at their new work stations decked in designer wear from some of this countryâs top local designers. The opening also featured models from the Image Modelling Agency strutting their stuff .
In a show of appreciation, one of LIMEâs longest serving customers, Louis Boucher, who has been a faithful customer of the company since 1958, when it was then known as Cable & Wireless, had the privilege of cutting the ribbon to officially declare the renovated office open. For his patronage, Boucher, a former footballer and renowned referee, was presented with a bouquet of flowers by one of LIMEâs representatives.
Country Manager of LIME, Angus Steele, stated that the re-opening represents just one of the many improvements to come in their business over the coming weeks and months. Steele said the renovation follows fresh on the heels of their expansion into the dealer market, which allows for LIME to offer sales of various products and services at various points across the island.
Also on hand at the ceremony, Managing Director of LIME Windwards, Lawrence McNaugthon, re-committed the company to serving their customers with a world class service. Updating the gathering on plans of the company, McNaughton said the company is working on getting LIME to be the leading information communication and technology (ICT) company in the Caribbean. âWe have to partner with the government and we want to be recognised as ICT champs of the Caribbean,â McNaughton noted.
Vice President of retail sales in the region, Dennis Ali, stated that he is proud of legacy that LIME has throughout the Caribbean. Recognising the importance of their customers, Ali noted that LIME will continue to provide the best service for their customers. (KW)
