Kaj Designs to debut at Fashion Caribbean

Kaj Designs of Tobago will be bringing to the Fashion Caribbean runway for the first time, a line of clothing and accessories embodying the Caribbean culture and its diverse heritage.{{more}}

The outlet was launched in 2005 by self-taught designer, Kevin Ayoung-Julien, as a boutique operation producing custom-made one of a kind pieces.

As Creative Director, Kevin’s determination, meticulous nature and commitment to the highest of standards, have allowed him to carve a niche in both the local and regional fashion markets.

At the age of 30, with a mere five years of design experience, the raw talent of this Tobago native has caused members of the Caribbean’s fashion circles to stop and pay notice to his art.

Image Modelling Agency has committed to producing an excellent Fashion Caribbean, through the agency’s motto for this year “Fresh Faces of Fashion” which brings to the runway fresh models and designers.

Fashion Caribbean 2010 which will be held at the Emerald Valley Casino on Saturday, August 14, commences with the Cultural Evening and Cocktail Party at the historic Fort Charlotte, land and Grenadine Tours, Vincy Friday Lime and the main event, the Fashion Show.

The Fashion Caribbean weekend will be captured by the regional media, She Caribbean of St Lucia, Shabeau Magazine and Television Show of Barbados, CFStyle.com of Trinidad and Runwaynews.com through the assistance of Invest SVG.
