Digicel winners off to South Africa World Cup

On Thursday, July 8, thanks to Digicel, Headmistress of the Girls’ High School (GHS) Andrea Bowman and her son, Shaka,{{more}} left these shores for South Africa.

The Headmistress is the winner of Digicel’s Fifa World Cup Promotion dubbed ‘Make the Team’. As a result of winning this promotion, Bowman and her son received US$1000 ($500 each) spending money, two tickets to the finals of the World Cup held on Sunday, July 11, departure tax, free accommodation and two airline tickets to South Africa.

The duo arrived in South Africa where they had the opportunity to go on a safari tour and a tour of soccer city.

Before leaving St. Vincent, Bowman, who is a Digicel post-paid customer, thanked Digicel, while stating that she feels very lucky to have won the trip.
