Overland man commits suicide

An Overland man is believed to have committed suicide by congesting the deadly weedicide Gramoxone.{{more}}

Adulphus “Cutty” Thomas’ lifeless body was found at Tourama Bay, Overland, on Sunday, May 9, 2010.

A relative who prefers to remain anonymous told SEARCHLIGHT the 69-year-old man had a lame leg that was in a bad condition and this caused him a lot of pain.

He said this might have prompted him to take his own life.

A postmortem was expected to be conducted on the body on Wednesday.
