JCI, Ministry of Health team up to hold health fair

JCI St. Vincent in collaboration with the Ministry of Health will be hosting three health fair events in various communities across the island.{{more}}

The events dubbed – “Encouraging a Healthy Lifestyle for 2010 and the Years Ahead” will involve the conducting of free high blood sugar and blood pressure testing, birth control and condoms demonstration, HIV/AIDS prevention with an interaction with an HIV positive patient, and more.

The events will be conducted in Colonaire at the Learning Resource Centre on May 15, then in Layou at the Learning Resource Centre on May 22, and the last event in Vermont on May 29, also at the Learning Resource Centre. All events will commence from 10AM to 1PM.
