On Monday, members of RJR Promotions collected their annual sponsorship money for their Vincy Mas 2010 J’Ouvert production. The cheque was handed over by Digicel’s Marketing Manager Juno DeRoche, at the company’s base in the Lewis Building on James Street.

RJR’s Marketing Manager, Roger Adams, Public Relations Officer, Jeremiah Howard, and Brand Manager, Ricardo Adams, were all on hand to receive the money.

RJR Promotions which is into its 13th year of J’Ouvert production will this year give the public ‘Hot Pink and Cool Blue’.

PRO Howard said that Digicel’s contribution becomes more and more valuable every year, because the cost of production rises every year.

“This sponsorship helps us to offset some of the expenses, so it is very important to us in our quest to make sure we provide patrons with a quality, safe, fun filled event”, said the Marketing Manager.

This year, patrons will party inside the Ministry of Transport and Works’ Car Park.

Said PRO Howard, “Once again RJR comes with a whole lot of clean fun, and we want patrons to know that we are going to party from midnight on Monday, July 5, with drinks as usual, and the normal professional approach.” Other sponsors include Photomax, Log Enterprises and Carib.
