Taiwan Ambassador makes donation to sick youth

The Ambassador of the Republic of China (Taiwan), Leo Lee, met with Mich Paul on April 9, 2010 to express his concern about Andine Douglas, a 14-year-old student from Dr. J.P. Eustace Memorial Secondary School, who desperately needs follow-up medical treatment which must be done urgently in Barbados immediately.{{more}} Upon receiving the appeal from the School to the public for help, Ambassador Lee decided to assist Douglas.

On behalf of the government and people of Taiwan, Ambassador Lee made a donation of EC$1000 to Paul on Andine’s behalf. Ambassador Lee also expressed his heartfelt sympathy and strongly believed that Andine could get through this hard time.

Paul, on behalf of the School and Andine, expressed his appreciation. Ambassador Lee and Mr. Paul both entertain hopes that Vincentians will follow suit by donating to this worthy cause with compassion.
