PM leaves SVG on state business

FROM Monday, April 19, 2010, Prime Minister Dr.Ralph Gonsalves will be out of the country on state business.{{more}}

On that day he will participate in the ALBA Summit which will take place in Venezuela.

Following that, he would journey to Bolivia for the two-day Peoples’ World Conference on Climate Change and Mother Earth, which will be held from April 20-21.

On April 26, the Prime Minister will visit Brazil for the Brazil/CARICOM Summit.

Gonsalves used the opportunity to announce that Brazil has set up an Embassy in St.Vincent and the Grenadines.

The Prime Minister noted that this is a strategic move because Brazil is regarded as having the 10th largest economy in the world.(HN)
