SJCK Past Students Association elected

Past students of the St. Joseph’s Convent Kingstown have elected an executive to assist their school. The executive team was elected to serve for one year and will be working to give back to the school, upholding their Alma Mater.{{more}}

The executive comprises – President: Chevonne Stewart, Vice President: Camille Peters, Treasurer: Kamala Francois, Assistant Treasurer: Michelle Mottley, Secretary: La Verne Phillips, Assistant Secretary: Tamara Bishop, P.R.O./Marketing Manager: Icelma Samuel, Assistant P.R.O./Marketing Manager: Cenicor Patterson, Committee Members: Jose’ Ballantyne, Colez Bascombe-James, Dahlia Browne and Malika Cyrus, and fundraising committee members: Monique Mills and Shanda Sandy.

The executive promises to assist the principal, teachers and students of the school in whatever way they could, and plans are going ahead smoothly with fundraising activities scheduled for the upcoming months. The newly elected executive and other members of the association showed their support by attending a church service at the “Cathedral of the Assumption” marking the celebrating of St. Joseph Day.

The need for the Association came to focus after the president of the association Chevonne Stewart was approached by the Principal of the school Calma Balcombe and the president of the P.T.A Dahlia Howard-Lewis.
