Gabby, the mascot of the Central Water and Sewage Authority (CWSA), was officially launched at the Windsor Primary School. The mascot, a bright green and blue garbage can, greeted the excited children who crowded the mascot shouting “Gabby, Gabby!”

Speaking at the school, Solid Waste Manager of the CWSA Winsbert Quow encouraged the children to keep the environment clean. “You must know the importance of keeping the environment clean,” Quow emphasized.

Quow added that the CWSA believes in shaping the message of keeping SVG green in children while they are young so that it would stick with them later in life.

Gabby also spoke to the children on the importance of keeping SVG clean and commended the children on their clean school environment. He also reminded the children not to litter and to spread the message of keeping St. Vincent clean to their friends and family.

Gabby and the CWSA officials also visited the Happy Days Pre-school and the Imani Pre-school to educate the children on ways to keep SVG green and clean.
