Their schools also received one desktop computer each.

Principals, Wayne Da Briel of the Pamelus Burke Government School, Wendy Rodney of the Petit Bordel Secondary School, Frank Jones of the St.Vincent Grammar School, and Marcia Peters of the Lauders Primary School received on behalf of their respective schools.

During the one month Win Big with Ju-C promotion which ended on December 2, 2009, entrants received weekly KFC vouchers, Cell Phone refill cards and cases of Ju-C.

Richard Stovall, CEO of Bottlers (St.Vincent) Ltd, Ju-c’s parent company, said the promotion was staged to promote education during the Christmas season.

He said similar promotions will be held in 2010. He noted that these promotions will also include Pepsi and will target schools and charities.

Dexter Thomas, officer with acting responsibility for Sales and Marketing, said the initiative helps Bottlers to give back to the community which has been supporting the company for over 50 years.

Thomas said all being well, Bottlers will continue to run the programme.
