Digicel rewards more loyal customers

“Simply unbeatable.”

Those two words were used to describe Digicel by Kesslon Wilson (one of Digicel’s customers) last Wednesday as Digicel’s Marketing Executive Edmund Joachim handed him a cheque for EC$1000. Wilson was one of 25 persons who collected EC$1000 from the telecommunications giant as part of the company’s loyalty programme.{{more}}

Joachim, on giving away the EC$25,000, said that the loyalty programme seeks to reward every customer on Digicel’s network with EC$1000.

On Wednesday, when asked how he felt about the money, Wilson said: “Right now I’m ecstatic. I have been using Digicel since it opened its doors here and I am very happy with the service and happy to have received this money.”

Another winner, Jude Knight, said that when he got the call he thought someone was playing a trick on him. “It was my birthday, and I told the person to stop playing,” remembers Knight who said that he was very surprised when he learnt it was not a trick. He added that he has been using Digicel’s service for a long time, and “I think it’s very good,” he emphasised.

Meanwhile, on January 31, one lucky Digicel customer, as part of Digicel’s “All I Want for Christmas” promotion, will get the opportunity to choose either a piece of land, a brand new Nissan vehicle or a vacation every year for five years. Persons who buy a handset or new SIM card, pay their bill on time, top up $25 or more or text CASH to 7171 will be entered in the “All I Want for Christmas” draw. If they are chosen as the grand prize winner, it will afford them the opportunity to chose one of the three prizes, all of which are valued at EC$100,000.
