Jackson wins Nintendo Wii System
Leslie Jackson of Town Hill is the winner of a new Nintendo Wii game system, thanks to Carifuna Incorporated.
Jackson entered the raffle to win the Wii by signing up on Carifunaâs website, www.carifuna.com. The game console is the second of three that Carifuna is raffling.{{more}}
Spokesperson for Carifuna Inc. Marlon Stevenson handed over the game system to Jackson.
âI look forward to hooking up this gadget and playing it. My girlfriend is also excited about it because there are some games that require some physical exercise and she wants to keep fit,â Jackson stated.
âCarifuna Inc. is the brain child of Gilbert Williams, a native of St. Vincent and the Grenadines now residing in New York,â Stevenson told Jackson
Stevenson explained that Carifuna.com is a trade portal and information hub for the Caribbean community, which includes the Caribbean Diaspora. Currently, users can log on to read local or international news, as well upload their own stories, videos and images. The site features a calendar which lists events in all Caribbean country and forum of in-depth discussions. In the coming months, users will be able to shop at stores through the Caribbean via carifuna.com.
Jackson was the second winner of three Wii being offer by Carifuna. The first raffle was won by Shivvon Francis of Trinidad and Tobago. The third game will be raffled this Saturday, January 16 on www.carifuna.com.
