The event runs from January 3-10, 2010, in Jamaica, with FirstCaribbean as lead sponsor.

The Caribbean MBA Conference features a distinguished cadre of speakers and panellists, including The Hon. Bruce Golding, Prime Minister of Jamaica, and from FirstCaribbean, Clovis Metcalfe, Managing Director of FirstCaribbean Jamaica.

Similar to the previous years, the 2010 Caribbean MBA Conference is being hosted by The Caribbean Business Clubs of Harvard Business School and The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.

“FirstCaribbean is pleased to support an event which consistently attracts the future and present leaders in business for dialogue on economic and financial hot topics that are of particular relevance to the region at this time,” said Mr. Metcalfe.

He added that the Bank’s support of the event is yet another indication of its commitment to the Caribbean, innovation and education.

This year’s panel discussion topics include “Entrepreneurship in the Caribbean” and “The Power of Regional Integration and Collaboration”.

Now in its eighth year, the Caribbean MBA Conference is designed to develop MBA students’ awareness of the employment and investment opportunities available in the Caribbean.
