The one-year programme, set to commence in January 2010 offers three areas of specialization – Human Resource Management, Supervisory Management, and General Management.

The deadline for receipt of applications is next Tuesday, December 15, and interested persons wishing to pursue the programme in any of these areas should submit a completed registration form, along with proof of qualifications, and a registration fee of $25.00 Barbados dollars to the CED.

According to CED’s PRO Keisha Phillips, “It is recommended that all payments be done through a Bank Draft made payable to BIMAP”.

Phillips says applications will be processed by BIMAP and is encouraging persons to submit their applications early to facilitate timely acceptance.

“Already we have had a number of persons submitting their applications. However, CED can only run the BCMS programme if the required minimum of fifteen persons are registered.”

The first Course – Supervisory Management – is scheduled to begin on January 9 and runs on Mondays and Wednesdays from 5:00 p.m-7:00 p.m. for a period of approximately 13 weeks. Individuals who do not want to take the entire one-year BCMS are welcome to register for individual Courses and will be issued with a certificate for that particular course upon successful completion.
