This weekend, the Police Drama Club will stage its theatrical production “Be Content” at the Peace Memorial Hall.

The Club is promising patrons a weekend of the usually high standard of drama, excitement and laughter.

On Sunday, November 29, the Police Band launches its annual Christmas Concerts in Georgetown, collaborating with the Pan Against Crime Programme to stage a grand concert. The Band will hold concerts in several communities throughout St. Vincent and the Grenadines, leading up to Christmas.

The much anticipated Police Christmas Caroling Contest takes place on Saturday, December 12. Several choirs from within the Departments of the Police Force, along with other Departments in the Ministry of National Security, are expected to participate.

Efforts are also being made to reintroduce the Police Children’s Christmas Party, featuring a Police Santa Claus.

This once very popular event was last held over 15 years ago and was an annual function put on by the Police Force to treat and bring Christmas cheer to children of members of the organization, and the general public.
