Investigations are continuing into the shooting of Michael Nicholls, 17, labourer of Redemption Sharpes, which occurred on November 1, 2009, at 1am.{{more}}

Police say that Nicholls received a gunshot wound to the right side of his chest while walking on the playing field. SEARCHLIGHT also understands that victim did not see his assailant or from where the shot was fired.

Nicholls has since been released from the Milton Cato Memorial Hospital.
