Last Monday, Digicel’s previous post paid plans became null and void as it unveiled newly created exciting packages that upped the offers.

Post paid customers now have a wide variety of new packages to choose from. These include the Digi-Select, Digi-Select 300, Digi-Select 500, Digi-Select 1000, Digi-Unlimited One and Digi-Unlimited Two.

Digi-Select offers customers 200 minutes at $49, while they get free unlimited SMS to a number of their choice. Previously, Digicel post paid customers received 120 minutes for $49.

The plans are truly much better now. On the Digi-Select 300, customers get free unlimited Digi to Digi SMS. The Digi-Select 500 offers free nights, while the Digi-Select 1000 grants free nights and weekends.

“The plans are offering you more minutes and we have made it more attractive,” said Jacqui Rawlins-Martin, the store manager of Digicel Halifax Street Branch.

Rawlins-Martin disclosed that the Digicel Unlimited One offer is a “really great plan”. With this package the subscription fee is $299. However, customers will get unlimited calls to local and regional Digicel phones, unlimited calls to fix lines, and unlimited Blackberry data. Plus that person can get a free Blackberry Storm.

Rawlins-Martin expressed that the Digi-Unlimited Two offered at $349 is even better. The package grants unlimited calls to local and regional Digicel phones, 100 minutes to other mobiles, unlimited local fix lines and calls to one fix line number in the UK, USA and Canada. Plus, free Blackberry data and a free Blackberry cell from its line of Blackberries.

“It can’t get any better than that. If you look at the economy right now and the times we are in. Everybody is looking for a way to cut cost to put themselves on a budget. I know I am…why not put yourself on one of these plans,” Rawlins-Martin encouraged.

The manager stated that persons who have relatives living in the Diaspora or studying should take advantage of these packages.

“I think you can now compare these packages to international packages,” said Rawlins-Martin.
