Man dies on Calder public road
Police are still trying to unravel the circumstances surrounding the death of Kenute âGibbsâ Bullock of Calder.
The 57-year-old man lost his life on Thursday, July 30th,2009, three days after celebrating his birthday. He is the son of Laurence and Estelle Bullock of the same address.{{more}}
A police report released on Tuesday, August 4th, 2009, stated that Bullock was met lying on the Calder public road with bruises to his face approximately 9:30 on the fateful night. The report added that he was pronounced dead by the District Medical Officer.
Helen Black of Calder, owner and driver of PN-83 is assisting the police with their investigations.
Reminiscing on his brotherâs life, Harold Bullock told SEARCHLIGHT: âOutside of his (Kenuteâs) drinking I have never seen a more friendly or helpful individual.â
On the issue of his alcoholism, Harold lamented: âItâs a mystery how he end up in that situation, if you had known him from before.â
Harold stated since his brotherâs death, he has found it difficult to sleep at nights.
Kenute was described as an ardent guitarist, cricketer, artist, and fisherman.
The interment for the deceased convenes at the Stubbs Roman Catholic Church tomorrow, while his burial takes place at the Brownesâ Cemetary at Stubbs. (HN)
