Young Employees Socialization Training Programme next month

The Eastern Caribbean Institute of Banking and Financial Services, in conjunction with the Rotary Club of SVG, will hold the 4th Annual YOUNG EMPLOYEE SOCIALIZATION Training Programme at the SVG Community College at Villa on Monday, August 10th, 2009, to Monday, August 17th, 2009, from 8.30 a.m. to 3.00 p.m. daily.{{more}}

Topics to be covered include: Goal setting and action planning; Expectations: Ours and theirs; Personal Financial Management; An introduction to the Eastern Caribbean Securities Market; Management’s assumptions and myths; Recent developments within the Financial Services Sector and new strategies for profitability; Personal Development; Resumé presentation and writing job applications; The Banking and Financial Services Sector Environment; Service excellence: customer focused; Insurance pros and cons; Developing service statements and standards; Strengths and weaknesses of the “Y” generation.

A panel discussion will also be held on the topic:

Career pathing for College graduates. Facilitators will be from the Banking and Financial Services sector and the Rotary Club of SVG.
