Digicel rewards top ten vendors

In a continued effort to make sure that all members of the Digicel family are contented, the telecommunications provider presented 10 of its leading top-up sellers with free credit on Wednesday.{{more}}

Handing over the credit to the resellers, Channel Manager Gershom Dick said that the presentation is one way that Digicel rewards their top sellers.

“Over the years and recent months they have been very active in selling for Digicel, so we just want to give something back to them to say thank you for pushing Digicel and making us the bigger better network”, said Dick. Each person got credit ranging from EC$200 to EC$500. Operations Manager at ABS (Digicel’s Main Distributor) Ezzie Roberts witnessed the presentation.

On hand to receive the credit were: Matthias Nanton (Officer’s Shop in Petit Bordel), Brenton Phillips (Video X-treme in Questelles), Elsie Olive (GR Howard), Cutey Butcher (vendor on Corea’s Sidewalk), Helen Richards (Arnos Vale Service Station), Rosita Ash (Rosita’s Shop, Murray’s Village) and representing Elize Shop (Stubbs) was Jamal Dickson. The other resellers were Dawn Sandy (Canouan), Camron Veira (Shoppers Choice Supermarket) and Andrew’s Shop (South Rivers).

Commenting, Nanton said that he feels good about getting the credit, while Phillips said that he has been with Digicel since inception and “the service is good I have no major problems”.

Butcher, who operates from the Corea’s Sidewalk on Halifax Street, said that he, too, has been with Digicel since inception. He commented: “Digicel always looks after their customers and sellers; selling cards helps me make a living, so I would like to say thanks to Digicel for the things that they have done for us over the years and I hope they are here for a very long time”. Ash thanked Digicel, stating that the company allows her to provide a worthwhile service in her community of Murray’s Village.

Meanwhile, on Monday, August 3rd, one person will walk away with EC$20,000 when Digicel’s third Mad Money draw comes off. After Monday’s draw, two more draws will be held, one on August 14 and the other on August 28.

Two persons, Judith Hull Ballah and Rohan Edwards have already each won EC$20,000.
