The St. Vincent and the Grenadines Cadet Force has been assigned responsibility for Disaster Relief Management through the National Emergency Management Organisation (NEMO). This includes the management of the central disaster relief warehouse and other satellite warehouses. Accordingly, the course had as its main objective to establish a cadre of trained Cadet Force personnel in Warehouse Relief and Supplies Management.
Funding for the course was provided through the St. Vincent and the Grenadines National Commission for UNESCO.
