Karib Cable, Digicel combine to reward lucky customers

A Father’s Day Promotion held by Karib Cable has afforded three persons the opportunity to have cable television in their homes.

Sandra Sampson of Chapman’s Village, Cathell Williams of Fairburn Pasture and Patrick Walker of Lowman’s Windward were the winners of the Karib Cable Father’s Day Promotion.{{more}} Sampson (First prize) will get three months free cable, Williams (second) will get free installation and two months free cable while Walker (third) will get free installation and one month free cable. They were entered in the promotion when they bought phones from the Digicel Store located in the Karib Cable Building at Frenches Gate.

Two of the winners, Williams and Walker collected their winnings on Tuesday morning. Sampson was late for the prize giving ceremony so collected her prize later that day. The prizes were handed over by Sales Associate Ranique Warren at the Digicel office located in the Sprott’s Building on Bay Street.

Commenting by telephone, Sampson said that she is glad to have won the free cable and is looking forward to getting it re-installed because something had gone wrong with the connection. Williams said that she is very excited because she never had cable television before, “so this suppose to be good entertainment”. Meanwhile Walker said that the change from just having one station will be good.
