In total, 4 electric fans, 6 chairs and 5 nebulisers were donated to the hospital. Hospital Administrator Fitzroy Jones and Supervisor of the Paediatric Ward Sister Jillian Primus were present to receive the donations.
Jones expressed his gratitude to the organisation and related that the items donated would facilitate the hospitalâs aim to remain patient-focused. He also highlighted the importance of those who contribute to the healthcare system because the government cannot possibly be the sole contributor. âLet us collectively move to improve healthcare in St Vincent and the Grenadines,â Jones implored.
Cuthbert Tucker, President of the CLICO Sports and Social Club, was delighted to present the MCMH with the much-appreciated items. âItâs a privilege to hand these over to you, and we hope they benefit you greatly.â
On Thursday, June 25, CLICO hosted a blood pressure and diabetes checking day at its headquarters for members of the public.
Laureene Kirby, CLICO Branch Manager, also gave brief remarks.(JSV)
