Loyal Digicel customers Andrew Fraser and Jackie Marques are the lucky winners of two raffles recently held by Digicelâs Flagship store The Cell.{{more}}
Last Friday at The Cell, on Halifax Street in Kingstown, Manager at the Cell Jacqui Martin handed over Fraserâs prize of a Sony Ericson Speaker (valued at EC$649), while the entire staff at The Cell came out to congratulate Marques who is a regular at the store and took home a Nokia 6120 handset.
Marques was the winner of the Rodney King Raffle, while Fraser won the Sony Ericsson Promotion. Marques, who said that she will be giving the phone to her mother, said that she supported the Rodney King Raffle because the money went towards helping King get his life saving kidney transplant. She said that she can safely say that the service provided by Digicel, âis excellentâ.
Meanwhile, Fraser said that he will use his Sony Ericson speaker system with his recently bought Sony Ericson handset. The phone, when placed on the speaker, becomes hands free.
The Glen resident said: âI have been using the service from the start and it is the best service in the world; I have two Digicel phones and my daughter has oneâ.
Martin (Manager of The Cell) said that both raffles were drawn on Friday, June 5th. Persons were entered in the Rodney King Raffle when they bought an EC$5 chance, while persons who bought a Sony Ericson handset in April or May became eligible for the Sony Raffle. Martin also spoke of two other promotions that are being presently run by The Cell.
Persons who buy a phone or top up EC$100 or more now have a chance to win a costume from Digicel Nelson Block for Vincy Mas 2009, while they can also win a cologne set and EC$100 credit for Fatherâs Day. The Carnival Promotion ends on June 30th, while the Fatherâs Day promotion ends today, Friday, June 19th.
