Last Friday, at the Company’s Corporate Offices in the Sprott’s Brothers Building on Bay Street, Marketing Manager Juno DeRoche handed over cheques totalling

EC$20,000 to 20 of Digicel’s customers.

DeRoche said that the money came as part of Digicel’s Loyalty Scheme, where every customer on Digicel’s prepaid network will receive EC$1,000 just for topping up EC$10 or more.

Receiving money were Hadel Antoine, Charles Mattis, Stephen Wyllie, Basan George, Iyad Tanous, Elias Moussa, Christine Trimmingham, Allexye Edwards, Curtis Greaves, Madonna Barbour on behalf of Mwyanza Buntyn, Clifton Ollivierre, Denese Ashton, Rolique Pope, Nadia Williams and Darren Jones. Missing were Wayne Williams, Desmond James, Phillip Joseph, Rodney Dabreo and Julian Guy.

Some of the winners said that they were surprised to have won, while others revealed that they were very grateful to Digicel for giving them the EC$1,000.

One of the winners, Administrative Assistant at the Emmanuel High School Mesopotamia Curtis Greaves, said: “This is a good feeling; it is always good when you win something, and I think Digicel is one of the best telecommunications companies in the world”.

Another winner, Clifton Ollivierre, said: “During this economic crisis, this money is a good thing. I have been topping up regularly and I will use this money to the best of my ability”.
