The St Vincent and the Grenadines Chamber of Industry and Chamber continues to lead the way in promoting trade and investment in goods and services.{{more}}

As a result of the Chamber’s initiative, a seven-member delegation was able to attend the Barbados Manufacturers’ Exhibition, which was held from May 29, to June 1, 2009, at the Lloyd Erskine Sandiford Centre, St. Michael, Barbados. The delegation consisted of a representatives from Sel Investments Ltd, Trotman’s Electronics Services Ltd, Famous Richie’s BBQ Shack, Frank B. Armstrong (St Vincent) Ltd., Harmony Investment Ltd., Exotic Frozen Delights and The Chamber of Industry and Commerce.

The Exhibition was held under the theme “Strengthening Our Economy”. The participants from St Vincent described the trade mission as a rewarding experience. With over fifty Caribbean manufacturers participating in the Exhibition, the Vincentian businesses were able to form alliances and establish trade links with exhibitors, which will ultimately add value to their companies.

The Chamber of Industry and Commerce was congratulated for its vision and leadership in coordinating the trip, which will no doubt open up opportunities for the growth and development of businesses in St Vincent and the Grenadines.
