Neighbours heard the crash and came out to investigate and saw the thief and his watchman leaving the scene.The theives were able to make off with a little over EC$300 and were trying to pry out the

stereo when the neighbours came on the scene, averting further damage to the rented vehicle.

The thieves were picked up by a get away car.
