Sponsors hand over cheques to CDC

As the countdown to the Hottest Carnival in the Caribbean continues, some of the contributors to the country’s largest cultural festival came through with cheques in hand, giving the components a well needed boost.{{more}}

Prior to the handover of the cheques, Acting Chairman of the Carnival Development Corporation (CDC) Lennox Bowman expressed his appreciation to all sponsors for their input to the event, saying that their donations were cherished and respected.

Handing over cheques on Wednesday at the CDC office were the Central Water and Sewerage Authority represented by Joan Ryan, Edwin D Laynes and Sons, whose cheque was handed over by Patrice Lewis, St. Hill Insurance represented by Cecil Mckie, Donal Jack representing Bottlers St. Vincent Ltd, Tamara Job of St. Vincent Electricity Services Ltd., St. Vincent Building and Loan represented by Allyson Bennett and Teddy James representing Coreas and Hazells.

The cheques will go towards the various components of Carnival.
