Two teenage brothers of Calliaqua have been charged with wounding with intent, following the incident, which reportedly involved rivaling youths from the Walvaroo and Calliaqua communities.

Information is that the youths involved had a run in some time before, during a Culture Pot festival in Calliaqua, and court proceedings are continuing out of that matter.

Hospitalized are Vanrick Providence and Dwight Pierre of Walvaroo, while next Wednesday, December 19, Romald and Myron Quinton, 19, and 16 years old respectively, will reappear at the Kingstown Magistrate Court.

Both first appeared before Senior Magistrate Donald Browne last Wednesday, December 12th, after charges were laid on them the night before. (KJ)
