Ambassador Cheng brings hope to needy

Ambassador of the Republic of China on Taiwan Jack Cheng made visits to two humanitarian organizations recently.

He visited the House of Hope Society and met with Chief Operating Officer Anita Nanton who was preparing Christmas parcels including food, drinks, and clothing for person living with HIV/AIDS.{{more}}

At the Salvation Army, Ambassador Cheng visited the day-care centre, the pre-school and the school feeding progeamme. Ambassador Cheng was very impressed by the Salvation Army being able to accomodate so many children who pay only a small amount for the lunch and day-care.

Ambassador Cheng handed over contributions to Mrs. Nanton at the House of Hope and Mrs. King at the Salvation Army to support their efforts and to convey his Chirstmas greetings to those who receive from the two institutions.
