Velox appointed head of SVG Co-Op Bank

The Board of Directors of the St. Vincent Co-operative Bank Limited has announced the appointment of Laverne Velox as Manager/Secretary.{{more}}

Veloxâs appointment is consequent upon the retirement of long-serving Manager/Secretary Kenneth E. Forde, and took effect November 1, 2007.

Forde was Manager/Secretary of the Bank from April 1, 1974. Velox has been employed with the Bank for twenty-four (24) years and served as the Bankâs Admin/Personnel Officer prior to the appointment.

The Bank is expected to relocate to its refurbished premises within the next two years. Construction is scheduled to begin early 2008.
